Our trademark approach to design has brought to life rooms infused with boldness, comfort, and sophistication. Eliza Crater, Mrs. Parish’s great granddaughter, is the creative director of the Studio and has carried on the family tradition with her own personal style.
Born in New York City, Eliza graduated from the University of St. Andrews with a degree in the History of Art and International Relations. In 2011, she moved back to New York where she worked as a senior project manager for Markham Roberts Inc. Before officially joining Sister Parish Design in 2018, Eliza maintains that, in many ways, her childhood was a master design tutorial as a result of the time she spent at her great grandmother and now grandmother’s houses. She assisted her mother in compiling and creating the Sister Parish fabric and wallpaper collection and has been responsible for the coloring of the collection for several years. Eliza’s proudest moment as an interior designer was when her mother Susan entrusted her to decorate their freshly renovated house in Bedford New York recently published by Architectural Digest in 2017.
